Ridlin Terms of Use

Welcome to Ridlin. Please read these Terms of Use carefully, as they form a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and Ridlin Services Private Limited ("Ridlin," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, using any of our services, or accessing our mobile app, website, or IoT-connected features, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using Ridlin and its services.
Introduction to Ridlin
Ridlin is a global platform designed to enhance the petparenting experience by offering digital tools, community connections, and smart technology. Our services include:
- Smart IoT Devices – Monitor your pet's GPS location, activity, health metrics, and behavior using Ridlin's IoT-enabled wearables
- Pet Networking – Connect with fellow pet parents, exchange insights, and share experiences
- AI-Powered Tools – Use Ridlin AI Consultant for personalized care, diet, and training suggestions
- Events and Socialising – Discover and attend pet-focused events online and offline
- Professional Services – Access pet grooming, training, healthcare, and veterinary support, depending on availability in your region
By using any of these features, you agree to abide by these Terms of Use and all associated policies including our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.
Eligibility
Before creating an account or using Ridlin's services, please ensure you meet the following eligibility criteria. By accessing the platform, you confirm that you understand and agree to these terms, and that you meet all requirements outlined below.
I. Eligibility to Use Ridlin Services
To foster a safe and trusted environment for all users, you represent and warrant that:
- Minimum Age: You are at least 13 years old
- Personal Use: You are registering as an individual, not on behalf of a company, organization, or legal entity
- Legal Capacity: You are fully capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable laws
- Jurisdictional Compliance: You are not located in a country or region subject to trade restrictions, sanctions, or embargoes; and you are not listed on any governmental restricted party lists (including but not limited to the U.S. Specially Designated Nationals List)
- Legal Standing: You are not prohibited by law from using Ridlin, and you have not been convicted of or charged with crimes involving violence, threats, or abuse unless legally pardoned
- Single Account Policy: You do not maintain more than one active Ridlin account, unless explicitly permitted in writing by Ridlin
- Previous Termination: You have not been previously removed or banned from Ridlin or any affiliated platforms, unless you have received prior written authorization to rejoin
If at any point you no longer meet these conditions, your access to Ridlin is automatically revoked. You must immediately discontinue use and delete your account.
II. Your Responsibilities as a Ridlin User
As a member of the Ridlin community, you agree to:
- Follow the Terms: Comply with these Terms of Use and any updates posted on the platform
- Act Legally: Abide by all relevant local, national, and international laws, including those related to data protection, online conduct, and intellectual property
- Respect the Community: Uphold Ridlin's Community Guidelines and Safety Tips by engaging respectfully and responsibly with others
- Protect Your Account: Maintain the confidentiality of your login details and take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access to your account
III. Prohibited Conduct
To maintain Ridlin's integrity and ensure a safe experience for all users, the following actions are strictly prohibited:
- False Information: Providing misleading, false, or impersonated information about your identity, age, or affiliations
- Platform Interference: Attempting to disrupt, damage, or overload the Ridlin platform, servers, networks, or connected services
- Unauthorized Requests: Asking other users for passwords, financial support, or personal contact information
- Privacy Violations: Collecting, disclosing, or using someone else's personal data without clear and explicit permission
- Harmful Code: Uploading or transmitting viruses, spyware, malicious scripts, or harmful software intended to compromise the platform or its users
- Harassment: Engaging in abusive, threatening, stalking, or discriminatory behavior, including toward pets featured on the platform
- Fraud or Deception: Using the platform for fraudulent purposes, including fake promotions, scams, pyramid schemes, or political financing activities
By complying with these requirements, you contribute to a secure, respectful, and trusted global community for pet lovers. Ridlin reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account found to be in violation of these terms, with or without prior notice.
Account Registration and Responsibilities
When you register with Ridlin, you are taking on specific responsibilities that are crucial for maintaining a secure and positive environment. To ensure the safety, reliability, and trustworthiness of our platform, we require all users to adhere to the following guidelines and requirements.
Account Creation
1. Accurate Personal and Pet Information:
- When creating an account on Ridlin, you must provide accurate and up-to-date personal details, including but not limited to your full name, date of birth, location, and any information related to your pets, such as their breed, age, and health conditions. This accuracy allows us to offer a safer experience, tailored connections, and better recommendations.
- Misrepresenting yourself, creating an account for someone else without their express permission, or using another person's information to establish an account is strictly prohibited. Impersonating others (whether individuals or entities) not only violates our terms but may also lead to immediate account suspension or termination. Additionally, such actions may expose you to legal consequences.
2. Age Requirement:
- Ridlin's services are designed for users who are at least 13 years old. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement. If you are found to be under the required age, Ridlin reserves the right to terminate your account without notice.
3. Single Account Policy:
- Each user may only have one account on Ridlin. This policy is in place to prevent duplicate or fraudulent accounts and to provide a genuine, high-quality experience for all users. Attempting to create multiple accounts may result in the suspension or termination of all associated accounts.
Security and Confidentiality
1. Confidential Account Details:
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including but not limited to your username, password, and any other security details associated with your Ridlin account. Do not share your login credentials with anyone, as doing so can compromise the security of your account.
2. Responsibility for Account Activity:
- As the account holder, you are fully accountable for all actions taken under your account. This includes any interactions, messages, posts, or uploads made through your account, whether authorized by you or not. To prevent unauthorized use, you should use a strong password and change it periodically.
- If you suspect unauthorized access or notice suspicious activity on your account, it is your responsibility to inform Ridlin immediately. We recommend enabling any available security features provided by Ridlin, such as two-factor authentication (if applicable), to further safeguard your account.
Information Accuracy
1. Commitment to Providing Truthful and Accurate Information:
- By signing up for Ridlin, you agree to provide truthful, complete, and accurate information about yourself and your pets. This includes ensuring that any details related to your pet's health, breed, and age are current and correct.
- Ridlin places a high priority on authenticity and transparency within our community. False information can disrupt the quality of connections and the effectiveness of our services negatively impacting the experience for others. If we identify discrepancies or intentional misrepresentations in the information you have provided, Ridlin reserves the right to take corrective action which may include suspending or permanently terminating your account.
2. Updating Information:
- You agree to keep all information on your account accurate and up-to-date. If any details such as your location or pet information change, you should promptly update them in your account settings. Regularly updated information helps us ensure a smooth enjoyable experience for you and the entire Ridlin community.
3. Termination for Non-Compliance:
- If Ridlin determines that your account information is false outdated incomplete or in violation of our terms, we reserve the right to limit suspend or terminate your access to the platform. Ridlin also reserves the right to take additional steps including reporting fraudulent misleading information to appropriate authorities when necessary.
Content
As a member of the Ridlin community, it is essential to understand your rights and responsibilities regarding content on our platform. This includes all content you provide or post, as well as content shared by others or provided by Ridlin. Posting inappropriate content is strictly prohibited.
Through our services, you will interact with three types of content:
- Your Content: Content you upload or provide through Ridlin, including anything suggested or generated through our tools.
- Member Content: Content provided by other users on Ridlin.
- Our Content: Content that Ridlin provides on or through the platform.
In this agreement, "content" refers to all forms of media, including text, images, videos, audio, and other materials. For further information on how Ridlin moderates content, visit our Safety page. For details on recommended profile rankings, check out our Matching Methodology.
1. Your Content
You are fully responsible for Your Content and its impact on others. Ridlin encourages you to avoid sharing any material that could violate our Terms, expose yourself or Ridlin to legal liability, or otherwise disrupt the community.
- Liability and Accuracy: You accept full liability for Your Content, including any claims arising from it. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Ridlin harmless against any claims related to Your Content. You also warrant that the information you provide is accurate and up-to-date, and if linked through third-party sources (e.g., Facebook), that it remains accurate.
- Relevance and Compliance: Your profile and content should reflect the intended use of Ridlin, without containing any Prohibited Content. Ridlin prohibits the sharing of personal contact, banking information, or peer-to-peer payment details, for yourself or others, such as names, addresses, phone numbers, credit/debit card details, and payment usernames. If you choose to share personal information with others, you do so at your own risk, and Ridlin strongly advises caution.
- Visibility: Content posted on your profile is globally visible. By sharing, you consent to this exposure and understand that other users may share or distribute Your Content outside of Ridlin.
- Content Management Tools: Ridlin offers tools to enhance Your Content, but you are responsible for its accuracy and use on our platform. Decisions based on Your Content are entirely your responsibility. Use caution when sharing content to maintain safety and accuracy.
Ridlin reserves the right to monitor, edit, limit, or remove Your Content at any time and without notice if deemed necessary. Ridlin also has no obligation to display or review Your Content.
2. Member Content
Member Content is shared by other users and is not yours to use beyond the terms set by Ridlin.
- Respect for Ownership: Member Content belongs solely to the user who posted it and is hosted on Ridlin's servers as directed by that user. You do not have any rights over Member Content and may not use it for any purpose outside of Ridlin's intended use for networking, communication, and connection.
- Accuracy and Independent Verification: Member Content is the responsibility of the poster, and Ridlin cannot guarantee its accuracy or reliability. Always independently verify information found in Member Content. Please note that some content may be incorrect, offensive, or misleading.
- Limited Use: You may only interact with Member Content as permitted within Ridlin's services. Reproducing, copying, or using Member Content for commercial, spamming, harassment, or unlawful purposes is prohibited. Violations may lead to account suspension or termination.
3. Our Content
Ridlin owns or licenses all content on its platform that is not user-generated.
- Intellectual Property Rights: Text, images, graphics, trademarks, sounds, and other intellectual property on Ridlin are owned or licensed by Ridlin and protected under copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
- Limited License: Ridlin grants you a limited license to access and use Our Content solely for personal use. All other rights remain with Ridlin, and you are not permitted to copy, reproduce, or distribute Our Content without Ridlin's prior consent.
Subscription Services and Payments
Ridlin offers both free and premium subscription plans designed to cater to a variety of networking and service needs for pet owners.
Free Version
- Basic Plan: This free plan provides users with access to essential networking and community features, allowing them to connect with other pet owners, join communities, and participate in basic interactions within the Ridlin ecosystem.
Premium Version
- Subscription Plans: Ridlin offers two paid subscription plans—Standard and Premium—which come with added benefits for a richer experience. Each of these plans is available in flexible durations of 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months, allowing users to select the plan that best fits their needs.

- Enhanced Matchmaking: Access to advanced matchmaking algorithms for finding compatible pets and pet owners.
- Advance Communication: Enjoy limited direct messaging and chat options to foster meaningful connections.

- Access to Profile Insights: Get detailed insights to make informed connections.
- Upload Videos: Showcase your pet's personality with engaging videos.
- Turbo: Stand out with premium visibility every week.
- See Who Liked You: Know instantly who's interested in connecting with you and your pet.
- Top Picks: Discover curated profiles of the most compatible matches.
- Message Before Match: Take the first step and start conversations before matching.
Billing and Payment
- All subscription fees will be billed to the payment method provided by the user during account setup or at the time of subscription. By subscribing to Ridlin's premium services, you authorise us to charge your designated payment method for all associated fees.
- Premium subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each term unless auto-renewal is turned off. Renewal charges are processed through the user's saved payment method, and renewal periods match the initial subscription term (1 month, 3 months, or 6 months).
- To avoid auto-renewal charges, users must disable the auto-renewal setting at least 72 hours before the current subscription period ends.

Cancellations and Refunds
- Users may cancel their subscription at any time by navigating to their account settings and following the cancellation instructions. However, to prevent being charged for the next billing cycle, the cancellation must be made at least 3 days prior to the renewal date.
- Ridlin does not provide refunds once a subscription has been activated. Users are encouraged to carefully review the subscription terms before activating or renewing any plan.

By using Ridlin's subscription services, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that fees are non-refundable, and the auto-renewal feature must be managed by you within the time frame specified. Thank you for choosing Ridlin for your pet networking needs.
User Conduct and Community Guidelines
At Ridlin, our goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment for pet parents, enthusiasts, and animal lovers around the world. To preserve the quality and integrity of the Ridlin experience, all users are expected to adhere to the following principles of responsible conduct.
Ridlin is more than just a platform, it's a community built on trust, respect, and shared love for pets. Your actions shape tone and safety of community. To protect the experience of every user and maintain a trustworthy space, we have established Community Guidelines that all members must follow.
(a) Our Core Community Values:
- Respect and Kindness: Treat fellow users with empathy and respect. We do not tolerate bullying, harassment, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind, whether based on race, gender, identity, age, nationality, beliefs, or pet ownership styles.
- Safe Interactions: Use Ridlin responsibly, whether online or offline. If you choose to meet another user in person, prioritize safety by selecting public, pet-friendly locations and informing someone you trust.
- Authenticity and Honesty: Provide truthful information about yourself and your pets. Do not impersonate others, misrepresent your identity, or post false content.
- Constructive Communication: Engage thoughtfully. Whether you're giving advice, sharing feedback, or commenting on content, do so in a way that contributes positively to the community experience.
- Pet Welfare First: Share only content that reflects responsible pet care. We strictly prohibit any content or activity that promotes animal cruelty, unsafe practices, or unethical behavior toward pets.
- No Spam, Scams, or Misuse: Do not use Ridlin to solicit donations, advertise unrelated products, or engage in spammy behavior. Scams, phishing, or misrepresentation for commercial or political gain is strictly forbidden.
- Privacy Matters: Respect the privacy of others. Do not share personal contact information, addresses, financial data, or private conversations without explicit permission.
(b) Violations and Enforcement:
Ridlin reserves the right to take appropriate action if these guidelines are violated. This may include:
- Warning or suspension of your account
- Permanent removal from the platform
- Referral to law enforcement in cases involving illegal activity or harm
Reports of misconduct are taken seriously and reviewed confidentially by our moderation team. We encourage users to use the in-app reporting tools to flag any behavior or content that violates these standards.
User-Generated Content and Parentship
Ridlin celebrates the creativity, experiences, and insights that users contribute through content. Whether you're sharing a photo, a story, or insights about your pet's journey, your voice helps shape the Ridlin community. To ensure a safe, respectful, and trusted environment, all users must follow these content policies.
I. Content Parentship
- Parentship of User Content: When you submit content on Ridlin, such as photos, videos, comments, and posts. you retain full parentship of that content. Ridlin respects your rights to your original creations and the efforts you put into sharing your pet experiences.
- Licensing Rights Granted to Ridlin: By posting content on Ridlin, you agree to grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, reproduce, adapt, distribute, and display your content across our platform and in related promotional materials. This license enables Ridlin to showcase your content within our services, feature it in community posts, and promote the Ridlin platform to new audiences while maintaining the integrity of your parentship.
- Revocability and Scope: This license is revocable by you; however, the license remains active for content shared while your account was active and may still appear in shared posts, promotional materials, or archived community interactions. This ensures that past contributions remain part of Ridlin's community history, even if your account or content is later removed.
II. Content Guidelines and Standards
To maintain a high-quality, pet-focused community, all content submitted by users must adhere to the following guidelines:
(a) Relevant to Pets:
All content shared on Ridlin must be relevant to pets, pet care, or topics that align with the platform's focus. Posts, photos, and videos should be centred around pets and the experiences, interests, or needs of pet parents.
(b) Respectful and Safe:
- No Harmful Content: Content that depicts harm, abuse, or mistreatment of pets or any individual is strictly prohibited. This includes photos, videos, or any form of media that glorifies or trivialises harm or cruelty.
- Accurate and Honest Representation: Content should reflect accurate information and not spread misinformation about pet care, pet health, or pet behaviours. Falsified or misleading content is discouraged to maintain a reliable and trustworthy community.
- No Inappropriate Content: Content must not contain graphic, explicit, or otherwise inappropriate material. Ridlin strictly prohibits obscene, vulgar, or offensive material in any form.
- Respectful Communication: Derogatory, inflammatory, or offensive language (including hate speech) will not be tolerated
(c) Privacy and Permissions:
- Only Share What You Own: Content shared on Ridlin should be your original creation, or you must have obtained permission to share it. Content taken from others without consent is prohibited, and you may not upload content that infringes on the copyrights, trademarks, or other rights of any third party.
- No Unauthorised Personal Information: Users should not post or share personal, sensitive, or identifying information of others without consent. This includes addresses, contact details, and any other private data that could compromise the privacy of individuals or their pets.
(d) Prohibited Content Types:
- No Unrelated Advertising: Ridlin is not a platform for promoting unrelated businesses, services, or fundraising efforts
- No Spam or Deception: Spammy posts, scams, pyramid schemes, or fake engagement tactics are not allowed
- No Hate or Violence: Content that promotes hate, discrimination, violence, or illegal acts will be immediately removed and may result in account action
(e) Consequences for Violations:
Ridlin priorities the safety and quality of its community. Any content that violates these standards may result in actions such as:
- Content Moderation: Ridlin reserves the right to remove any content that does not meet the platform's guidelines. Content found to be inappropriate, irrelevant, harmful, or otherwise in violation may be removed without prior notice to the user.
- Account Warnings and Restrictions: In cases of repeated or severe violations, Ridlin may issue warnings, temporarily restrict content sharing privileges, or place other account limitations to protect the community.
- Account Suspension or Termination: For continuous violations or egregious cases, Ridlin may permanently suspend or terminate the user's account. Ridlin also reserves the right to ban any user whose content consistently undermines the platform's values.
(f) Reporting and Appeals:
Ridlin empowers the community to report inappropriate or harmful content directly through the platform. All reports are reviewed confidentially and handled in accordance with Ridlin's content policy and moderation process.
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file an appeal by report a problem or email us at support@ridlin.com. Ridlin will review each appeal thoroughly; however, final decisions rest with our moderation team.
Smart Device Services and AI Consultant Disclaimer
Ridlin offers smart pet technology and AI-driven support tools to enhance the care experience for pet parents. These features are designed to provide informational support only and should not be treated as a substitute for professional veterinary care or behavioral training.
I. Use of Ridlin IoT Devices
Ridlin's IoT-enabled smart devices, such as GPS trackers, activity monitors, and health analytics wearables, are designed to provide real-time insights into your pet's wellness and location. By using Ridlin devices, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Device Purpose: These devices track data such as movement, rest, stress indicators, temperature, and location, and may integrate with your pet's profile in the Ridlin app
- No Medical Guarantee: IoT data is meant to inform pet parents and aid decision-making, but it is not a diagnostic tool and should not be relied upon for medical emergencies or critical care
- User Responsibility: You are responsible for proper device installation, maintenance, and charging. Ridlin is not liable for injury, loss, or incorrect health data caused by improper use
- Connectivity Limitations: GPS, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi functions may be affected by your location, device compatibility, or environmental conditions. Ridlin does not guarantee uninterrupted tracking or monitoring
- Data Storage: Data collected by IoT devices is stored securely in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and may be used to generate insights or alerts within your account dashboard
For questions about your device's health reports or alerts, consult a licensed veterinarian.
II. Use of the Ridlin AI Consultant
Ridlin's AI-powered Pet Care Consultant is an educational and guidance tool that offers non-clinical recommendations in areas such as:
- Custom diet plans based on breed, age, weight, and lifestyle
- Basic training suggestions aligned with behavioral profiles
- Wellness tips based on general body condition scores (BCS)
- Early prompts for common health patterns (e.g., excessive scratching, inactivity)
While designed to support informed care, the Ridlin AI Consultant is not a licensed medical provider. By using the AI tool, you acknowledge:
- Informational Use Only: The AI provides suggestions, not medical advice, and should not replace vet consultations
- Accuracy Limits: Results may vary based on user inputs and available data; Ridlin is not responsible for actions taken based on AI outputs
- No Liability for Decisions: Users agree that decisions made using AI-generated recommendations are made at their own discretion and risk
- BCS and Metrics: Body Condition Score assessments and weight insights are visual and generalized; actual health assessments must be performed by professionals
All AI-generated content is advisory and not intended for clinical use. Always consult a veterinarian for medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment decisions.
By using Ridlin IoT or AI services, you accept these terms and understand the supportive (not clinical) role these tools serve in your pet care journey. For full data policies, refer to our Privacy Policy.
IoT Device Warranty and Hardware Terms
Ridlin smart devices are designed to support pet care with convenience, safety, and real-time monitoring. The following terms apply to the purchase and use of Ridlin IoT hardware:
I. Limited Warranty
- Coverage: Ridlin offers a limited hardware warranty for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery
- Scope: The warranty covers manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship under normal usage
- Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, water exposure (if the device is not rated waterproof), tampering, accidents, or unauthorized repairs
- Claim Process: To request a replacement or repair, contact support@ridlin.com with proof of purchase, description of the issue, and photos if applicable
- Shipping: Users may be responsible for return shipping costs depending on location and the nature of the claim
II. User Responsibilities
- Ensure the device is charged and properly secured on your pet
- Keep firmware updated through the Ridlin app
- Remove the device in extreme weather conditions or during high-impact activities unless certified for such use
- Do not dismantle or modify the device, doing so voids the warranty
Privacy Policy
Ridlin is committed to safeguarding user privacy. Our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference, describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Ridlin, you agree to our Privacy Policy and understand your rights regarding your personal data.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Ridlin strives to offer a secure, engaging, and enriching platform for pet parents to connect, share, and support one another. However, users must understand that the nature of an online community platform involves certain risks and limitations. This section outlines Ridlin's disclaimers and the limits to our liability, which are essential for maintaining transparency and setting realistic expectations for our users.
I. Platform Use and Expectations
- No Guarantee of Specific Outcomes: While we strive to deliver a high-quality experience, Ridlin does not guarantee specific results or uninterrupted access to the platform. Users acknowledge that the outcomes of their engagement, such as matches or connections, are dependent on individual behavior, preferences, and interactions.
- Platform Availability: Ridlin is continuously improved through updates, bug fixes, and feature enhancements. Temporary service interruptions may occur due to scheduled maintenance, software updates, or unforeseen technical issues. We make every effort to minimize disruptions but do not guarantee continuous or error-free operation.
- User Conduct and Community Engagement: Ridlin provides safety tools, reporting features, and community guidelines, but we cannot guarantee the behavior or intentions of every user. Users are encouraged to use discretion, especially during in-person meetups or private communications. Ridlin is not responsible for the actions of individual users or the outcomes of user interactions.
- Content Accuracy and Reliance: Content shared on Ridlin, including user posts, pet care advice, product reviews, or comments, is not guaranteed to be accurate or verified. Users should consult qualified professionals (e.g., veterinarians or trainers) for health, legal, or safety concerns. Ridlin does not endorse or validate user-generated content.
II. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ridlin and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Loss of Data: Ridlin is not responsible for deleted, inaccessible, or lost content, including photos, messages, profiles, or settings
- Financial Loss: We disclaim liability for any revenue loss, business disruption, or missed opportunity arising from platform usage or downtime
- Emotional or Physical Harm: Ridlin is not liable for distress, emotional injury, or harm resulting from user behavior, platform interactions, or community events
- Third-Party Actions: We are not responsible for damages caused by other users, third-party services, data breaches, or external integrations outside Ridlin's direct control
- Incompatible or Damaging Content: Ridlin does not warrant that the platform will be free of viruses, malware, or harmful scripts. Users access and download content at their own risk and are responsible for using appropriate device and software protection
III. Liability Cap
If Ridlin is found to be liable for any reason, our maximum aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid to Ridlin within the past twelve (12) months for paid services or one hundred dollars (USD $100), whichever is lower.
