Welcome to Ridlin! Please read these Terms of Use carefully, as they constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Ridlin ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our services, accessing our platform, and creating an account, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue the use of our services.

1. Introduction to Ridlin

Ridlin is a global premium platform designed for pet owners to connect, network, and access a range of services dedicated to enhancing the experience of pet ownership. Our platform is dedicated to pet community building, connecting pet owners, finding partners for pets, and providing access to various pet services, including but not limited to:

  • Pet Networking: Connecting pet owners globally to share experiences and insights.
  • Pet Matchmaking: Helping pet owners find suitable partners for their pets.
  • Events & Socialising: Facilitating pet-related events and activities for both pets and pet owners.
  • Professional Services: Including additional pet care services as available in specific regions.

2. Eligibility

Before you begin your journey on our platform, please ensure you meet our eligibility requirements and fully understand the responsibilities associated with maintaining an account on Ridlin. By accessing and using Ridlin, you agree to these terms, and represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility criteria and understand your obligations.

Eligibility to Use Ridlin Services

To ensure a safe and authentic environment for all users, you confirm and warrant that:

  • Age Requirement: You are at least 13 years old.
  • Individual Use: You are registering as an individual, not as a corporation, partnership, or any other business entity.
  • Legal Capacity: You are legally capable of entering a binding contract with Ridlin.
  • Jurisdictional Compliance: You are not located in a region that restricts access to Ridlin due to government embargoes or sanctions. You are also not on any restricted lists (e.g., Specially Designated Nationals) that prohibit business interactions with the United States or its allies.
  • Legal Compliance: You are not prohibited by law from using our services, nor have you been convicted or pleaded no contest to any crimes, particularly involving violence or threats of violence, unless you have received a pardon or other form of clemency.
  • Single Account Use: You are limited to one Ridlin account unless you have received written permission from us to create an additional account.
  • Previous Removal: You have not been previously banned or removed from Ridlin or any affiliate platforms without permission to rejoin.

If you fail to meet any of these requirements at any time, your authorization to use Ridlin is automatically revoked, and you must immediately discontinue use by deleting your account.

Your Responsibilities as a Ridlin User

As a valued member of the Ridlin community, you are expected to:

  • Compliance with Terms: Follow these Terms of Use, including all updates and changes, which are periodically made available on our platform.
  • Lawful Usage: Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and legal requirements, including those related to privacy, intellectual property, and anti-spam standards.
  • Respect for Community Guidelines: Ensure your actions on the platform align with Ridlin’s Community Guidelines and Safety Tips, designed to maintain a respectful and inclusive environment.
  • Protection of Account Security: Take reasonable measures to safeguard your login credentials and prevent unauthorized access.

Prohibited Actions and Behaviour

To preserve the integrity and quality of Ridlin, users must refrain from:

  • Misrepresentation: Avoid falsifying your identity, age, or affiliations in any way.
  • Interference and Disruption: Do not engage in any activities that may compromise the functionality of Ridlin, its network, or servers.
  • Unauthorized Solicitation: Avoid soliciting passwords, monetary gifts, loans, or other personal information from other users.
  • Privacy Violations: Do not collect or share any user information without explicit permission, nor disclose any proprietary information that you are not authorized to share.
  • Malicious Activity: Uploading viruses, malware, or any other malicious code intended to damage, interfere with, or compromise the security of Ridlin is strictly forbidden.
  • Harassment and Abuse: Harassing, bullying, stalking, or causing psychological or physical harm to other users or their pets is strictly prohibited.
  • Fraud and Misuse: Avoid using Ridlin for fraudulent activities, pyramid schemes, or political financing.

By following these guidelines, you contribute to a safe, welcoming, and effective community platform for all Ridlin users. Ridlin reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards, with or without prior notice.

3. Account Registration and Responsibilities

When you register with Ridlin, you are taking on specific responsibilities that are crucial for maintaining a secure and positive environment. To ensure the safety, reliability, and trustworthiness of our platform, we require all users to adhere to the following guidelines and requirements.

Account Creation

1. Accurate Personal and Pet Information:
  1. When creating an account on Ridlin, you must provide accurate and up-to-date personal details, including but not limited to your full name, date of birth, location, and any information related to your pets, such as their breed, age, and health conditions. This accuracy allows us to offer a safer experience, tailored connections, and better recommendations.
  2. Misrepresenting yourself, creating an account for someone else without their express permission, or using another person’s information to establish an account is strictly prohibited. Impersonating others (whether individuals or entities) not only violates our terms but may also lead to immediate account suspension or termination. Additionally, such actions may expose you to legal consequences.

2. Age Requirement:
  1. Ridlin’s services are designed for users who are at least 13 years old. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement. If you are found to be under the required age, Ridlin reserves the right to terminate your account without notice.
3. Single Account Policy:
  1. Each user may only have one account on Ridlin. This policy is in place to prevent duplicate or fraudulent accounts and to provide a genuine, high-quality experience for all users. Attempting to create multiple accounts may result in the suspension or termination of all associated accounts.

Security and Confidentiality

1. Confidential Account Details:
  1. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including but not limited to your username, password, and any other security details associated with your Ridlin account. Do not share your login credentials with anyone, as doing so can compromise the security of your account.
2. Responsibility for Account Activity:
  1. As the account holder, you are fully accountable for all actions taken under your account. This includes any interactions, messages, posts, or uploads made through your account, whether authorized by you or not. To prevent unauthorized use, you should use a strong password and change it periodically.
  2. If you suspect unauthorized access or notice suspicious activity on your account, it is your responsibility to inform Ridlin immediately. We recommend enabling any available security features provided by Ridlin, such as two-factor authentication (if applicable), to further safeguard your account.

Information Accuracy

1. Commitment to Providing Truthful and Accurate Information:
  1. By signing up for Ridlin, you agree to provide truthful, complete, and accurate information about yourself and your pets. This includes ensuring that any details related to your pet’s health, breed, and age are current and correct.
  2. Ridlin places a high priority on authenticity and transparency within our community. False information can disrupt the quality of connections and the effectiveness of our services negatively impacting the experience for others. If we identify discrepancies or intentional misrepresentations in the information you have provided, Ridlin reserves the right to take corrective action which may include suspending or permanently terminating your account.
2. Updating Information:
  1. You agree to keep all information on your account accurate and up-to-date. If any details such as your location or pet information change, you should promptly update them in your account settings. Regularly updated information helps us ensure a smooth enjoyable experience for you and the entire Ridlin community.
3. Termination for Non-Compliance:
  1. If Ridlin determines that your account information is false outdated incomplete or in violation of our terms, we reserve the right to limit suspend or terminate your access to the platform. Ridlin also reserves the right to take additional steps including reporting fraudulent misleading information to appropriate authorities when necessary.

4. Content

As a member of the Ridlin community, it is essential to understand your rights and responsibilities regarding content on our platform. This includes all content you provide or post, as well as content shared by others or provided by Ridlin. Posting inappropriate content is strictly prohibited.

Through our services, you will interact with three types of content:

  1. Your Content: Content you upload or provide through Ridlin, including anything suggested or generated through our tools.
  2. Member Content: Content provided by other users on Ridlin.
  3. Our Content: Content that Ridlin provides on or through the platform.

1. Your Content

You are fully responsible for Your Content and its impact on others. Ridlin encourages you to avoid sharing any material that could violate our Terms, expose yourself or Ridlin to legal liability, or otherwise disrupt the community.

  1. Liability and Accuracy: You accept full liability for Your Content, including any claims arising from it. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Ridlin harmless against any claims related to Your Content. You also warrant that the information you provide is accurate and up-to-date, and if linked through third-party sources (e.g., Facebook), that it remains accurate.
  2. Relevance and Compliance: Your profile and content should reflect the intended use of Ridlin, without containing any Prohibited Content. Ridlin prohibits the sharing of personal contact, banking information, or peer-to-peer payment details, for yourself or others, such as names, addresses, phone numbers, credit/debit card details, and payment usernames. If you choose to share personal information with others, you do so at your own risk, and Ridlin strongly advises caution.
  3. Visibility: Content posted on your profile is globally visible. By sharing, you consent to this exposure and understand that other users may share or distribute Your Content outside of Ridlin.
  4. Content Management Tools: Ridlin offers tools to enhance Your Content, but you are responsible for its accuracy and use on our platform. Decisions based on Your Content are entirely your responsibility. Use caution when sharing content to maintain safety and accuracy.

Ridlin reserves the right to monitor, edit, limit, or remove Your Content at any time and without notice if deemed necessary. Ridlin also has no obligation to display or review Your Content.

2. Member Content

Member Content is shared by other users and is not yours to use beyond the terms set by Ridlin.

  1. Respect for Ownership: Member Content belongs solely to the user who posted it and is hosted on Ridlin’s servers as directed by that user. You do not have any rights over Member Content and may not use it for any purpose outside of Ridlin’s intended use for networking, communication, and connection.
  2. Accuracy and Independent Verification: Member Content is the responsibility of the poster, and Ridlin cannot guarantee its accuracy or reliability. Always independently verify information found in Member Content. Please note that some content may be incorrect, offensive, or misleading.
  3. Limited Use: You may only interact with Member Content as permitted within Ridlin's services. Reproducing, copying, or using Member Content for commercial, spamming, harassment, or unlawful purposes is prohibited. Violations may lead to account suspension or termination.

3. Our Content

Ridlin owns or licenses all content on its platform that is not user-generated.

  1. Intellectual Property Rights: Text, images, graphics, trademarks, sounds, and other intellectual property on Ridlin are owned or licensed by Ridlin and protected under copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
  2. Limited License: Ridlin grants you a limited license to access and use Our Content solely for personal use. All other rights remain with Ridlin, and you are not permitted to copy, reproduce, or distribute Our Content without Ridlin's prior consent.

5. Subscription Services and Payments

Ridlin offers both free and premium subscription plans designed to cater to a variety of networking and service needs for pet owners.

Free Version

  1. Basic Plan: This free plan provides users with access to essential networking and community features, allowing them to connect with other pet owners, join communities, and participate in basic interactions within the Ridlin ecosystem.

Premium Version

  1. Subscription Plans: Ridlin offers two paid subscription plans—Standard and Premium—which come with added benefits for a richer experience. Each of these plans is available in flexible durations of 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months, allowing users to select the plan that best fits their needs.
  2. Premium Plan Features:
    • Enhanced Matchmaking: Access to advanced matchmaking algorithms for finding compatible pets and pet owners.
    • Advance Communication: Enjoy limited direct messaging and chat options to foster meaningful connections.
    • Backtrack: Accidentally swiped? Go back and reconsider with ease.
    • Access to Profile Insights: Get detailed insights to make informed connections.
    • Upload Videos: Showcase your pet’s personality with engaging videos.
    • Turbo: Stand out with premium visibility every week.
    • See Who Liked You: Know instantly who’s interested in connecting with you and your pet.
    • Top Picks: Discover curated profiles of the most compatible matches.
    • Message Before Match: Take the first step and start conversations before matching.

Billing and Payment

    1. Payment Method:

    1. All subscription fees will be billed to the payment method provided by the user during account setup or at the time of subscription. By subscribing to Ridlin’s premium services, you authorise us to charge your designated payment method for all associated fees.

    2. Auto-Renewal:

    1. Premium subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each term unless auto-renewal is turned off. Renewal charges are processed through the user’s saved payment method, and renewal periods match the initial subscription term (1 month, 3 months, or 6 months).
    2. To avoid auto-renewal charges, users must disable the auto-renewal setting at least 72 hours before the current subscription period ends.

Cancellations and Refunds

    1. Subscription Cancellation

    1. Users may cancel their subscription at any time by navigating to their account settings and following the cancellation instructions. However, to prevent being charged for the next billing cycle, the cancellation must be made at least 3 days prior to the renewal date.

    2. Refund Policy:

    1. Ridlin does not provide refunds once a subscription has been activated. Users are encouraged to carefully review the subscription terms before activating or renewing any plan.

By using Ridlin’s subscription services, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that fees are non-refundable, and the auto-renewal feature must be managed by you within the time frame specified. Thank you for choosing Ridlin for your pet networking needs.

6. User Conduct and Community Guidelines

Ridlin is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for pet owners and enthusiasts to connect, share, and grow within a positive pet community. To protect the experience of every user and maintain a trustworthy space, we have established Community Guidelines that all members must follow.

Ridlin is dedicated to building an inclusive, supportive community where pet owners and pet lovers can connect safely. Users who consistently uphold these guidelines help foster a positive environment that benefits the entire Ridlin community.

By joining Ridlin, you agree to uphold these guidelines, treat others with respect, and use the platform responsibly. Together, we can maintain a welcoming space for everyone to enjoy the unique bond between people and their pets.

7. User-Generated Content and Ownership

Ridlin values the creativity and contributions of its users, especially as they share their love for pets through content on the platform. To ensure a respectful, safe, and enjoyable experience for everyone, it’s important to understand the guidelines and rights associated with user-generated content on Ridlin.

Content Ownership

  • Ownership of User Content: When you submit content on Ridlin—such as photos, videos, comments, and posts—you retain full ownership of that content. Ridlin respects your rights to your original creations and the efforts you put into sharing your pet experiences.
  • Licensing Rights Granted to Ridlin: By posting content on Ridlin, you agree to grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, reproduce, adapt, distribute, and display your content across our platform and in related promotional materials. This license enables Ridlin to showcase your content within our services, feature it in community posts, and promote the Ridlin platform to new audiences while maintaining the integrity of your ownership.
  • Revocability and Scope: This license is revocable by you; however, the license remains active for content shared while your account was active and may still appear in shared posts, promotional materials, or archived community interactions. This ensures that past contributions remain part of Ridlin's community history, even if your account or content is later removed.

Content Standards

Ridlin’s platform is centred around pets and pet care, so content guidelines are essential to preserving a respectful and relevant environment. All users must adhere to Ridlin’s content standards when submitting any form of media, including photos, videos, comments, and other material.

  1. Relevant to Pets: All content shared on Ridlin must be relevant to pets, pet care, or topics that align with the platform's focus. Posts, photos, and videos should be centred around pets and the experiences, interests, or needs of pet owners.
  2. Respectful and Safe:
    • No Harmful Content: Content that depicts harm, abuse, or mistreatment of pets or any individual is strictly prohibited. This includes photos, videos, or any form of media that glorifies or trivialises harm or cruelty.
    • Accurate and Honest Representation: Content should reflect accurate information and not spread misinformation about pet care, pet health, or pet behaviours. Falsified or misleading content is discouraged to maintain a reliable and trustworthy community.
    • No Inappropriate Content: Content must not contain graphic, explicit, or otherwise inappropriate material. Ridlin strictly prohibits obscene, vulgar, or offensive material in any form.
  3. Privacy and Permissions:
    • Only Share What You Own: Content shared on Ridlin should be your original creation, or you must have obtained permission to share it. Content taken from others without consent is prohibited, and you may not upload content that infringes on the copyrights, trademarks, or other rights of any third party.
    • No Unauthorised Personal Information: Users should not post or share personal, sensitive, or identifying information of others without consent. This includes addresses, contact details, and any other private data that could compromise the privacy of individuals or their pets.
  4. Prohibited Content Types:
    • Solicitations and Advertisements: Content that promotes unrelated services, products, or businesses not associated with pet care or networking is not allowed. Users are discouraged from posting commercial advertisements or engaging in spam-like behaviour.
    • No Offensive or Violent Material: Content that promotes or glorifies hate, discrimination, violence, or illegal activities is strictly forbidden. Ridlin maintains a zero-tolerance policy for hate speech or any form of discriminatory or derogatory language.

Consequences for Violations

Ridlin prioritizes the safety and quality of its community. Any content that violates these standards may result in actions such as:

  • Content Moderation: Ridlin reserves the right to remove any content that does not meet the platform’s guidelines. Content found to be inappropriate, irrelevant, harmful, or otherwise in violation may be removed without prior notice to the user.
  • Account Warnings and Restrictions: In cases of repeated or severe violations, Ridlin may issue warnings, temporarily restrict content sharing privileges, or place other account limitations to protect the community.
  • Account Suspension or Termination: For continuous violations or egregious cases, Ridlin may permanently suspend or terminate the user’s account. Ridlin also reserves the right to ban any user whose content consistently undermines the platform's values.

Reporting and Appeals

Ridlin encourages users to report content that violates these standards, allowing the community to maintain a respectful and positive environment. Ridlin will investigate reports, and users may appeal actions taken on their content by reaching out to our support team. Ridlin’s decisions on appeals are final, and we strive to handle each case fairly and transparently.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

However, users must understand that the nature of an online community platform involves certain risks and limitations. This section outlines Ridlin’s disclaimers and the limits to our liability, which are essential for maintaining transparency and setting realistic expectations for our users.

No Guarantee of Specific Outcomes

  • Platform Quality and Access: Ridlin is dedicated to maintaining high standards for our platform’s quality, functionality, and security. We continually update our services to enhance user experience, optimise performance, and prevent interruptions. However, Ridlin does not guarantee continuous, error-free, or uninterrupted access to all services, features, or tools. Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen technical issues.
  • Connections and Engagements: Ridlin facilitates introductions, networking, and communication within the pet-loving community, yet we cannot guarantee specific interactions or successful matches between users. While we aim to connect users with shared interests and values, the success of these interactions depends on individual user engagement, preferences, and personal compatibility.
  • User Conduct: Ridlin provides guidelines and policies to maintain a respectful and positive environment; however, we cannot guarantee that all users will adhere to these guidelines. Users are encouraged to exercise judgment and discretion when interacting with others, as Ridlin cannot control individual behaviour or ensure that all interactions will meet expectations.
  • Content Accuracy and Reliability: Information shared on Ridlin, including pet care tips, recommendations, and user-generated content, may not be verified for accuracy. Users should not rely solely on the platform for professional advice and are encouraged to consult certified professionals, especially for health, veterinary, and legal matters. Ridlin disclaims responsibility for any reliance placed on information shared by other users or content posted on the platform.

Limitation of Liability

  • Scope of Liability: Ridlin, along with its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents, shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or connected to your use of Ridlin, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Lost Data: Ridlin is not liable for any loss of data, including photos, posts, messages, or any other content submitted on the platform, as technical issues, account suspension, or other disruptions may lead to data loss.
    • Financial Losses: Ridlin disclaims responsibility for any financial losses, including missed opportunities, business disruptions, or potential revenue losses that may occur while using or attempting to use our platform or services.
    • Physical or Emotional Distress: While Ridlin seeks to foster positive and supportive community interactions, we are not liable for any emotional distress, harassment, or negative experiences arising from user interactions. Ridlin encourages users to report issues promptly but cannot guarantee the prevention of such occurrences.
    • Third-Party Damages: Ridlin is not responsible for any damage or harm caused by other users or third parties outside of our control. This includes unauthorised access to accounts, data breaches, or issues stemming from third-party integrations or services used alongside Ridlin.
  • Direct Damages: In the unlikely event that Ridlin is found liable for damages, our liability will be limited to the amount you have paid to Ridlin for services in the past twelve (12) months, if any, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is lower. This cap on liability applies to all claims collectively, including contract, tort, warranty, or any other legal theory.
  • No Liability for Incompatible or Damaging Content: Ridlin does not guarantee that the platform will be free from harmful components, such as viruses, malware, or unauthorised scripts, that could potentially affect your device, data, or software. Users should exercise caution and utilize their own security measures. Ridlin disclaims responsibility for any damages incurred due to downloading or accessing platform content, including user-generated files or media.

Exclusions and Waivers

  • User Responsibility: Ridlin encourages responsible usage, including securing your account, avoiding sharing personal information with unverified users, and utilising features responsibly. Users waive the right to hold Ridlin liable for outcomes resulting from their own decisions, actions, or interactions on the platform.
  • State and Country Variations: Some jurisdictions may not permit certain limitations of liability, so the above exclusions may not apply in every instance. In such cases, Ridlin’s liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Changes to Disclaimers and Liability Limitations

Ridlin reserves the right to modify these disclaimers and liability limitations at any time, with notice to users when required by law. These modifications will become effective immediately upon posting, and continued use of the platform signifies acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Termination and Account Suspension

Ridlin is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive community. As part of this commitment, Ridlin reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts when necessary to protect the integrity of the platform, enforce policies, or prevent harm to the community. This section details the circumstances under which Ridlin may take such action and the implications for users.

Grounds for Termination or Suspension

To preserve a positive experience for all members, Ridlin may take corrective action against accounts that violate our policies, pose risks, or act in ways detrimental to the Ridlin community. Examples of grounds for termination or suspension include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Violation of Terms of Use: Any breach of Ridlin’s Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, or other policies can lead to account suspension or termination. This includes misuse of features, unauthorized use of content, or violations of community guidelines.
  2. Inappropriate or Harmful Behaviour:
    • Harassment or Bullying: Any form of harassment, bullying, discrimination, or hateful speech directed towards other users is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension or termination.
    • Inappropriate Content: Posting content that is offensive, explicit, or otherwise against Ridlin’s Content Standards (such as non-pet-related content or prohibited material) may lead to account action.
    • Misuse of Communication Tools: Users may not use Ridlin’s messaging or interaction features for spamming, soliciting, or promoting non-pet-related services or businesses. Such misuse disrupts the platform’s intended purpose and violates community trust.
  3. Fraudulent or Misleading Activity:
    • False Representation:Creating false identities, impersonating others, or submitting inaccurate or misleading personal information is a serious violation of Ridlin’s policies.
    • Scams and Fraud: Engaging in deceptive practices, scams, or fraudulent behaviour (such as promoting fake services or seeking personal financial information) is grounds for immediate termination.
  4. Threats to Community Safety:
    • Harmful Intent: Any activity that endangers other users or their pets, such as providing misleading advice or promoting unsafe pet care practices, may lead to account suspension or termination.
    • Unauthorized Access or Security Violations: Attempts to access another user’s account, exploit system vulnerabilities, or compromise Ridlin’s platform security are strictly prohibited.
  5. Legal Violations: Ridlin complies with applicable laws, and users are expected to do the same. Any activity that is unlawful or exposes Ridlin or its users to legal risk may result in account suspension or termination. This includes sharing prohibited content, unlawful solicitation, or copyright infringement.
  6. Repeated Offences or Noncompliance: Users who repeatedly violate Ridlin’s policies, disregard warnings, or fail to modify their behavior following suspensions may face permanent account termination. Ridlin seeks to provide opportunities for corrective action but may resort to termination for repeated violations.

Process for Account Suspension and Termination

Ridlin aims to follow a fair and transparent process when suspending or terminating accounts. In most cases, we will notify users of a potential issue and provide an opportunity for response. However, in cases involving serious violations or immediate threats to community safety, Ridlin may take swift action without prior notice.

  1. Warnings and Temporary Suspensions:
